GLOBAL ARTS/MEDIA
Global Arts/Media is formally licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury/Office of Fiscal Assets Control (OFAC) to provide people-to-people travel services to Cuba for U.S. individuals, nonprofit organizations, and businesses. Currently, under OFAC general license, Global Arts/Media offers people-to-people trips that engage travelers in a full-time schedule of educational exchange activities that result in meaningful interactions with the people of Cuba. Global Arts provides travel services Throughout the US, Europe and, in 2024, southern Africa.
At home, in the US, Global Arts/Media works nationally and internationally with government, business, and the not-for-profit sector to plan, and create arts and cultural initiatives that revitalize and develop communities and the people who reside in them. This work includes cultural planning and arts development, the design and management of public art projects, the adaptive reuse of cultural facilities and spaces, nonprofit capacity building, small business development, and activities to increase cultural tourism and activities in cultural districts. To accomplish this work, Global Arts/Media has developed a signature "ArtsBuild" approach, a holistic development process that effectively and economically integrates the arts not just as an amenity, but also as a platform for community and economic development.
